Classical, Contemporary and Conceptual: A Photographic Triptych

For those of you living in Northern Colorado, I would like to invite you to a show that I'm participating in with two good good friends, Ira and Vered Galor:

Classical, Contemporary and Conceptual:
A Photographic Triptych

The show will be diverse as our three styles are vastly different and yet it works due the talents of Vered Galor, a curator from Los Angeles.

Not surprisingly, I will be showing black & white images! But they are pieces, almost to a one, that have not appeared in other shows or exhibitions.

Ira will be showing some of his color architectural images from Los Angeles. Vered will be displaying her experimental emulsion on glass collages. One of a kind pieces.

Our goal is to show three different approaches to photographic art: Classical, Contemporary and Conceptual: A Photographic Triptych.

We will have two opening receptions:

• Friday, February 23, 6-9 pm
• Friday, March 2, 6-9 pm (First Friday)

February 23-March 3, 2007

The photographic world has expanded from its role in photojournalism and portraiture. It now includes many artists that have different approaches and outlook on the medium.

Three photographers: Cole Thompson, Ira Galor and Vered Galor, will be showing their individual and diverse work in photography.

The dissimilarity varies from classical black and white landscapes, to color architectural views and experimental, emulsion on glass collages.
