Gay Houses - Fort Collins, CO - 2006

For those of you who are puzzled by the title, two words: Fred Astaire.  "Gay" doesn't always mean "Gay."

I was driving around old town Fort Collins one day when I started noticing how brightly painted

many of the old homes were.  I thought to myself, these are gay houses!

 

For those of you who know me and know that I'm militantly b&w (I actually belong to the group PAC

(Photographers Against Color), you might ask yourself; "Why isn't this in black and white?" 

Because I had this whimsical idea, created it, threw it in to a juried exhibition and it got in!
