Dahlia and Old Hands - Fort Collins, CO - 2005

I wanted to contrast the Dahlia against old hands and so I went to a Rest Home and

asked the nurses to recommend someone.  Mildred was very old but her mind was sharp

and she seemed to enjoy the attention of the camera.  I later took her a copy of this picture

but had to leave it because she was asleep.  I always wondered what she thought when

she looked at her own aged hands in a photograph.
